Our Story

Established in 2019, IonMatrix Power LLC is a U.S.-based private technology company specializing in the custom design and manufacturing of advanced battery cells and packs. We provide comprehensive solutions to meet diverse performance and application needs.

We are a market-driven, process-centered organization dedicated to delivering innovative design solutions that consistently exceed customer expectations and outperform industry peers. While we draw inspiration from the Japanese Company-Wide Quality Control (CWQC) philosophy, we use it primarily as a foundation for continuous improvement. Our approach centers on two key methodologies: Taguchi Methodology and Quality Function Deployment (QFD).

Our design team is composed of principal designers, consultants, and data analysts who are industry leaders in applying robust engineering design methodologies to problem-solving, quality improvement, and system optimization.

With a combined 50+ years of experience in battery product development and manufacturing for EV and energy storage companies, our team has served in roles ranging from Design Engineer to Engineering Manager. Through this extensive experience, we have developed deep expertise in enhancing product design and scaling up manufacturing using the most advanced and reliable engineering and production methods.
